Getting Ahead Australia’s vision is to help people feel more confident communicating in English and in achieving their life and career goals. 

Our Story

Getting Ahead Australia was established in 2014 by Laura Barclay. 

Laura Barclay – Founder

Laura who is originally from London, moved to the USA after leaving high school and then to Australia after graduating from university. She understands the challenges of moving to a new country, especially when English is not your first language. She speaks French, Spanish and basic Mandarin. 

“For me it’s about helping people live the life they really want. It’s very exciting and rewarding to see what can be achieved with a little extra knowledge, advice and support. My job is simple – to help each client make positive changes they want in their life.”
